On a Sad Note.....
Brian Bates' mother, Donna, passed away Saturday, September 22nd. She'd had surgery on Sept. 11th, at which time the doctors determined that she had terminal cancer, spread from her previous breast cancer. She decided, after discussion with her doctors, that she did not want any intervention and she passed peacefully on Saturday afternoon. We are all grateful that she did not suffer needless treatments and that she was able to make the decisions for herself. There will be a memorial service on Sunday, October 7th, in Effingham, IL.
Donna was one of the biggest GN "booster" mom's around! She will be
Our Hearts go out to Brian, Diane, & family.
As you know, our reunion is scheduled for Homecoming weekend.
The game is Friday night at 7:30.
We have bleachers that are going to be set up in the end zone,
especially for us (just like the 20 year).
We had a riot with just us there, so try to make it to the game.
We’re going to have a tour of the school again since they just
did some remodeling there this past year.
The tour will begin at 6:30 p.m. so try to make it.

Condolences to all of you who have lost family members or dear friends over the
last few years. If we
