Reunion Details

Hi Everyone!!

We have lots of information about our 25^th Reunion.  It will be held the weekend of September 21-23, 2001. Friday Sept.21 will be the golf outing, then a tour of the school, then the homecoming game, afterwards the  informal get-together and lastly, the late night breakfast . Sat. Sept.22 will be the dinner-dance, which will be held at the Hickory Ridge Marriott Conference Hotel in Lisle, IL.  A buffet breakfast will be held on Sunday morning at the hotel.

Group Photo:  8:15 p.m.   
We will be having a group photo done at the reunion 
along with table shots by the photographer.  
The prices for these photos are: 
Group Photo - $14.00 each – you will get these back that night
Table shots - $6.00 each – these will be mailed to you
Book of Table shots - $25.00 each – these will be mailed to you
You will pay the photographer for any of these photos that night.

Dancing, mingling, and open bar:  8:30 p.m.to 11:30 p.m.

$75.00 per person* 

After Party in Don Johnson’s Suite:  12:00 a.m. to ?

*This rate includes dinner and open bar.  We decided on the open bar to keep the cost per person down for the entire evening. The cost of all drinks, even soda and bottled water, was so high, that it will be less expensive overall this way.  It also includes all the mailings, the memory book, decorations, and the DJ.

The majority of us will meet at 9:00 a.m.
No charge for those staying at the hotel
$8.00 for those not staying at the hotel

Hotel Rooms are $75.00 per night.  Call as soon as possible to get the best rooms.  A couple will be given the larger rooms.  If you call as soon as possible, singles can also get the upgraded rooms—as long as they are available.  The phone numbers are: 800/334-0344 or 630/971-5030.  Be sure to mention that you’re with the Glenbard North Class of ’76 Reunion to get the discount.  If you have any problems with getting the correct rate, be sure to tell them that we have a block of rooms especially be held for our Reunion. 

The hotel is surrounded by woods.  It’s really beautiful there and you can have a picnic lunch outside, if you want, maybe on Saturday afternoon.  There’s also a gym, pool, gift shop and other amenities at our disposal while we’re staying there.  And just down the street is a Krispy Kreme doughnut shop, for those of you who are crazy about them.

If you or any friends from other classes would like to attend for the socializing only (after dinner), everyone is welcome, but there is a $35.00 per person charge to attend (after 8:30 p.m.)  Anyone interested can come!! J

Be sure to get there by 8:15 so you can be in the group photo!!
